Burdette, Mercersburg, Pa., has been chosen to enter Select Sires’ Program for Genetic Advancement™ (PGA™) sire-sampling system. Based on his outstanding pedigree, POLLARD is one of 335 Holstein bulls to enter the program in 2008. In addition to being sampled through PGA cooperator herds, this young sire has been identified as a Super Sampler™. With this designation, POLLARD semen is available to all Holstein breeders.

POLLARD, maternal brother of fitness-trait specialist 7HO8175 Windy-Knoll-View PRONTO-ET, is a Jenny-Lou Mrshl Toystory-ET son bred for type improvement and solid production. His dam is Windy-Knoll-View Promis-ET (EX-95-2E-GMD-DOM) and his grandam is the foundation cow of the family, Windy-Knoll-View Ultimate Pala (EX-94-3E-DOM). POLLARD is a high-PTAT calf that should sire great udders and show-ring appeal.
