Hosto Named Corporate Communications Intern at Select Sires Inc.



PLAIN CITY, Ohio, June 11, 2008 — Danyel Hosto, Juda, Wis., has been selected as the summer corporate communications intern for Select Sires Inc., Plain City, Ohio. Her responsibilities include developing the 2009 dairy and beef breeding calendars, along with assisting the sales and marketing team with promotions and communications.

Hosto is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, pursing a bachelor’s degree in dairy science and life sciences communication. On campus, she is active in the Association of Women in Agriculture, serving as president, Badger Dairy Club, serving as vice president and as a member of the University of Wisconsin dairy judging and dairy challenge teams.

Hosto brings a passion for the dairy industry to Select Sires, which was initiated at Hosto Registered Holsteins, a 60-cow registered Holstein farm, owned by her parents, Kelley and Ruth Hosto. Furthering this passion in the Junior Holstein Association has led to many achievements, the culmination of which was being named a 2008 National Distinguished Junior Member (DJM) Semifinalist.
