Select Sires Hires Renée Norman

PLAIN CITY, Ohio, December 10, 2009 — Select Sires has hired Renée Norman as sales and marketing communications specialist. In this role, she will manage the writing and production of Select Sires' customer newsletter, Selections; coordinate all press releases; and work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote Select Sires' many programs and services. Norman will be based at the company's headquarters in Plain City, Ohio.

Norman has a strong background in the dairy industry, growing up on Normandell Farms, her family's registered Jersey operation in Liberty, Pa. She holds a bachelor's degree in animal sciences from the Pennsylvania State University. During her time at Penn State she served as editor of the dairy science club's yearbook in 2007 and was a member of the 2008 Dairy Challenge team that earned a gold award at the national contest.

Norman has returned to Select Sires following her 2006 internship with the company as the summer marketing communications intern. She most recently served as assistant editor of the Jersey Journal.
