Position Title:
Reproductive Solutions Specialist (RSS)

The RSS position is a strategic consultant position responsible for developing proactive reproductive solutions with key clients as part of an account team. Leading continuous learning in the area of bovine reproduction for our cooperative employees will also be an important part of this role.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
Primary accountability will be measuring and managing reproduction with key accounts as directed by account managers. This will be done by first understanding the dairy's reproductive goals and then designing a reproductive solutions program in concert with the herd's management team and additional outside perspectives as requested by the dairy. Analyzing reproductive records, establishing proper estrus detection or synchronization systems and directing additional changes to factors effecting reproduction will be everyday activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelors Degree in a scientific discipline required. A Masters Degree in Bovine Reproductive would prove to be very valuable. Already having multiple years of experience working in a dairy/beef production environment/industry, preferably involving the reproductive (and genetic) aspects of the operation would be highly valued. Knowledge of the bovine industry, bovine products, bovine reproduction and dairy management software (Dairy Comp 305) essential. Being able to effectively communicate at varying levels of bovine reproduction knowledge a must along with keeping all members of an account team informed. Communicating in Spanish a definite plus. Position requires good organizational and accuracy skills, excellent oral and written communications and computer skills. The successful candidate must be able to live in USA-Minnesota and be willing to travel and work in a regional team of professionals. Office at the St. Cloud, MN office of Minnesota Select Sires preferred.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation will be commensurate with the degree of qualifications met and experiences had. Salary, vehicle and strong benefits package included. Intense training programs will be offered and required once the successful candidate passes a 90 day evaluation.
